I've not been able to make sure it's not a BootCamp problem, since I could not find a way to reinstall the BootCamp drivers and BootCamp control panel.ĭoes anyone have any suggestion other than reinstalling my Windows Partition? Error 1068: The dependency service or group failed to start"Īs you see I've tried everything but I got stuck. Unfortunately it's in Swedish, but it says: "Windows could not start the Windows Audio service on Local computer. Not starting up properly when "fast startup" was enabled.īut this morning the "fast startup" was enabled again by itself, I did not enable it myself and would not have any reason to do so. Last time I fixed the problem by disabling "Windows fast startup" in the power options. The issue started this morning when my external sound card (Avid Mbox 3) started to have problems again which I've had before. My sound device does not start up and I get the "Audio Service not running" error message. I'm running Win 10 on a BootCamp partition on a MacBook Pro late 2013.
